Yes, I gave you a quote from Plato in my last blog... And yes, I'm giving you some Pimp C this time around... Realness comes from all walks of life, my friends...  You can get a different bit of truth from all different corners...  You just have to be willing to accept it...

I'm hard on guys... I know this without a shadow of a doubt... It's not that I'm mean or anything, I'm just a straight shooter... I call it out like I see it... I don't have time for games or foolery...  I set the standard from day ONE so there's no confusion as to how I roll or what my expectations are... And if that's too much, I politely show the door... Exit stage left... Simple...

See, we become what we tolerate...  If you go into a situation with someone who's lying all the time, putting their hands on you, talking to you any kind of way, using you for your money, or any of that other monkey-shit, then that's what you'll grow accustomed to... And that's what you'll start to accept on a regular basis... Your mind & heart becomes conditioned to believe that's okay... Nooooooooooo!!! That is NOT okay...

All relationships have their ups & downs, trials & tests, but YOU have to set the standard as to what you will and won't allow into your life...  I'm tellin' you off TOP, I don't go, boo... I don't ask for much, but I expect the world & I want a partner who feels the same... And don't get it twisted, what I'm saying applies to both sexes... Fellas, y'all need to leave some of these ratchets in the streets where you found them... I see too many of my homeboys who are GENUINELY good dudes getting dogged out by gutter rats...  We all wanna feel loved, but at what cost?

Everyday that I wake up, I pray that God just makes me a liiiiiiiiiitle bit better than I was the day before...  I strive to go a little farther that yesterday...  I know that I can do bad all by myself, so in the meantime-in-between-time, I'm only surrounding myself with folks that understand that I want the MOST & not the lesser...  And there is NOTHING wrong with that...You'd better GET your upgrade, baby!

There MUST be something in the water...

Look here... If I see ONE more young lady  girl between the ages of 12 and 15 with a fresh LACEFRONT, I'm going to  lose it... I'm sure of it... Another 7 year-old with acrylics JUST might send me over the edge... Is this the generation that will be making decisions concerning my healthcare? Is the fate of my old-age going to rest in the hands of these "boppas"?!?!?! Now, I know that back in my Central High School days, I participated in QUITE a bit of ratchetivity. I won't even lie like I didn't do my share of underage drinking or smoke a few blunts here & there... (I told ya'll, I have to keep it 100 during this experience... LOL) I can't even count the number of days that I skipped school and went to Denny's.  Football Friday nights were DESTINED to be filled with drunken slurs, minor fender benders, & cringe-worthy hook-ups...
